Foodiebook! Turks Review

Hey you guys!! After waiting for almost, like... forever, I have finally found it!!! The "BEST" Doner in town!!

This kiosk was swarming with people when we came to Makati Circuit's parking side.

Looking for a good place to satisfy your craving's that will allow us to dine in with our furbabies at the same time has already eliminated almost all of the restaurants. So, it was very convenient that Turks Now Wrapping is not in an enclosed area and is right beside the mall's benches. Yey! No need to leave our dogs outside, and we get to enjoy this gastronomic heaven wrapped in a pita bread at the same time!!!

We don't have a lot if options to choose from on the menu and even the sizes doesn't vary so we need to dissect all the factors that made the whole experience awesome.

The Verdict

Wait Time               4/5
Portion                   4/5
Pita Bread               5/5
Lemonade               3/5

The meat was Nirvana out of 100%. It does not need to be one of the criteria, because their Doner converted me into an instant advocate.

I have high expectations when it comes to the pita bread because aside from the meat, it will definitely make or break any kind of wraps for me,and I was not disappointment.

The pita has its milky taste, just enough for it to compliment the concentrated umami of the roasted meat. The beef melts in your mouth and the veggies tones down the grease. The wrap was 80% meat with less veggies.THANK YOU.

Woah, I can still taste the savory goodness of the beef caressing my palate in every bite.

Nothing extra ordinary about the lemonade though. Just your typical Nestea lemonade with a lotta ice.. I am really looking forward from our Turk's guys to come up with a house blend concoction that will be as promising as the main dish.

Let us not forget that ingenious packaging that has an easy open seam on the side which I will help you easily devour the Doner.

The only thing that kind of disappointed me though is that there is no sizes option. I mean, give me more!!! Anyone is always willing to pay big bucks for good food. Check their kiosk at Circuit Makati and make it a Turksday!

Note: This is not a paid review.

Foodiebook! BBQ Soldiers Review

guess its name is what got our pallet intrigued! We are fortunate that this little burger store is just 3 elephant steps from our place.

First, the name of the menu or as what they call it "artillery" is a bang. Like literally! The menus name is like a commando or a soldier's shopping list.
Waiting time is about 10 minutes if you are lucky. Apparently, the people went gaga for some reason which is another factor that got us into thinking, does it taste really good? Gimme that burger already!!!
The Menu

The Verdict
Quarter Pounder Burger... 5/5
 S.A.S Burger all meat... 4/5
 Desolator Wings... 6/5
 Fish and Chips... 3.5/5
 Shirley Temple... 5/5
 Home Blend Tea...5/5

Their Quarter Pounder is hmmm, hmmm!! Love it!! Beef so juicy, sauce is superb!

S.A.S Burger all meat is pretty good, but it can improve.

The "desolator" Wings is 6/5!!! A WIN I tell yah. I have high standards and these wings are above and beyond my standards. So lemme give the chef a smooching 💋 for a job well done!!

Fish and Chips came in a large serving and can be shared by 2. Nothing special about the potato, but the blue cheese dip was good though. The cream dory can use a little flavor boost but they are really big. I can appreciate that.

And let us not forget the presentation, they come in a chopping with a little side dish. They do not offer fork and knife for your chicken and give you a plastic glove for you to ravish on their savory menu and because we like it like that. Even the drinks have this kind of finesse that you won't get from a regular burger store.

Overall, the food is fantastic which will absolutely keep me wanting for more!!! Kudos BBQ Soldier!!
